Terms of use

Description, not advice.

Last reviewed 2026-08-26. Reading this site means these terms.

1. What this site is

fivedesks computes a financial-position score and a written brief for large US-listed companies from their own SEC filings, and republishes congressional trading disclosures as filed. Everything on the site describes; nothing on it recommends. No page is an offer, a solicitation, or investment, legal, or tax advice, and no page tells you to buy, sell, or hold anything. Decisions you make after reading are yours.

2. What the numbers are

Scores summarise reported financials relative to peer companies, using the method published on the methodology page — including what it gets wrong. Figures come from public sources that are themselves delayed, amended, and occasionally erroneous; congressional disclosures arrive with a lag that varies widely. We publish what was filed, when we ingested it, and we correct errors when you point them out.

3. No warranty

The site is provided as-is, without warranty of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or availability. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from use of, or reliance on, anything published here.

4. Your use

Read freely; the facts here are never paywalled. Do not misrepresent the site’s content as advice from us, republish our written briefs wholesale as your own, or degrade the service for others (bulk scraping that hammers the site included). The underlying public records belong to the public; the prose, scores, and presentation are ours.

5. Changes

Features described as paid or forthcoming exist only once they actually work — the site does not sell promises. These terms may change; the date above moves when they do.
